St. Clair Co, IL was probably named after Gen Arthur St. Clair of 1776War record--he was the governor of Northwest Terr for many yearsafterwards & many places carry his name.
I suspect Hulda may be related to the following
Nathaniel, born KY about 1810, married in 1829 in Crawford Co and inWarrick Co IN census 1840-1870.
Alexander, born IN about 1810, married & lived in KY in 1840 &1850. InWarrick Co In census in 1860.
Henry born IN in 1817, married & lived in KY until about 1844 when he wasremarried in Warrick Co IN & listed on the census for 1860 & 1870.
Ebenezer born about 1800. Perry county census 1830, next door toNathaniel in Warrick Co in 1840 then back in Perry Co in 1850.
There is also a John in Warrick Co in 1820 with 4 boys under age 10 thenhe disappears. And a Margaret St. Clair married a Rev. Henry Hart about1813 in KY, then moved to Warrick Co.
My great grandfather was a son of Nathaniel---George Reuben St. Clair, born 1843 in Warrick Co, IN. Served in Civil War in the 12 KY Cav.---sameas your John Faughander.
Still working on this & will keep you in mind if I do find the connection.
